Vice President of Technology Sales and Cluster Leader Nordics, Oracle EMEA
As the lead manager of Oracle’s technology business in the Nordics, Hans Olav Hamran is responsible for bringing Oracle technology to the Nordic marketplace. His responsibilities include supporting new and current Oracle customers in their digital transformation, helping them create business value by leveraging new technologies such as private and public cloud, AI, machine learning, IoT, mobile, and more. His decades of technology experience and passion for open source make him a frequently requested speaker on technology topics.
Hamran joined Oracle Norway in 1992 as an applications consultant and project manager. Since then he has held many different roles, including finance director (1996) and applications sales director (1999), before being appointed country leader for Norway (2003). He held the country leader position until 2006, when he was appointed vice president of technology sales for the Nordics. In 2009, in addition to his vice president’s role, he assumed the cluster leader role in the Nordics.
Hamran holds a master’s degree in business and marketing from the BI Norwegian Business School.
