Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPAT® Version 2.3 - April 2019

Name of Product:

Outside In PDF Export SDK 8.5.6.0

Product Description:

Outside In PDF Export is a SDK that is accessed through a C/C++, Java or .NET API. This SDK provides programmatic conversion of input documents to be rendered as PDF. The SDKs and it's documentation meet the accessibility requirements.

The PDF output is not designed as a typical PDF document and does not  meet the accessibility requirements.  PDF constructs are used to render documents true to it's original layout.  Some items and navigation that are typical in a PDF page, are not available in these renderings since they are based on source documents that do not contain them.  To manufacture them would be contrary to the intent of the product which is to mimic the rendering style of the original document.

The recommended styles of testing for accessibility include: (i) algorithmic automated tests, (ii) human judgement tests such as tool-assisted tests, visual inspection and manual operation, and (iii) testing with assistive technology by people with and without disabilities. Additional information about Oracle's accessibility program is available on http://www.oracle.com/corporate/accessibility/index.html
