Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPAT® Version 2.0 - October 2017

Name of Product:

Java Compatibility Kit 12

Product Description:

Java Compatibility Kit 12 (JCK 12) is a collection of tests that is used to ensure compatible behavior between implementations of the Java SE (Standard Edition) 12 platform. The tests in JCK 12 are derived from statements in the specification of the Java SE 12 platform.

JCK 12 can be run from the command line or from the JavaTest test harness. Some of the tests in JCK 12 are interactive, and present a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that the user must interact with. Interactions with the GUI are excluded from this VPAT.

Due to the JCK having to meet the criteria specified in the JSRs (Java Specification Requests), it is not possible to meet all accessibility criteria as they are in conflict with the JSR. To meet the criteria would require a fundamental alteration of the product.
