Oracle Health Sciences Empirica Topics and Signal Management (Updated) 8.1

Product Description:

There are two components of this product that can be configured separately.

1. Empirica Topics (Topics tab)

Empirica Topics is a workflow application where users in a work team can collect issues into topics and actions and process them through different states in the workflow. States have fields such as text, date, or numeric fields dropdown fields, or pick lists that user complete to proceed to another state. When a topic is complete, it is moved to a closed state. The Topics tab in Empirica Signal represents Empirica Topics.

2. Empirica Signal Management (Signals tab)

Empirica Signal Management is a statistical analysis tool used by the pharmaceutical industry and regulators to review post-marketing safety data for particular monitored drugs on a routine basis.  Results are presented in tabular form and optionally in graphical form. Forms are available for user input. The Signals tab in Empirica Signal represents Empirica Signal Management. 

Both components require the base Empirica Signal product.

The menus on the signal interactions graph do not receive initial focus when the user displays the menu from this graph. The user must tab through each line in the graph until focus is set on the graph menu. At that point, they can use the keyboard to select items on the graph menu. The menu does not display at the optimal location next to the graph line but displays near the mouse cursor.
