Dear Customers and Partners,
I am excited to share that on November 15, 2018, Oracle announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire Talari Networks, which delivers a leading SD-WAN technology to enhance cloud connectivity, simplify network operation and boost enterprise application performance.
Talari is a leading provider of Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) technology offering centralized network control and improved application performance. Their proprietary Failsafe technology enhances the benefits of SD-WAN by adding greater reliability and predictability while maintaining security for site-to-site and site-to-cloud connectivity and application access over any IP network. Talari serves over 500 enterprise customers in 40 different countries across a variety of industries including public sector, financial services, insurance, retail and manufacturing.
Oracle Communications’ leading Session Border Controller (SBC) and network management infrastructure secure and manage the flow of session data across fixed and mobile IP networks—connecting people, devices, and applications worldwide. Talari’s Failsafe SD-WAN solution complements Oracle’s enterprise communications portfolio by delivering high availability and Quality-of-Experience (QoE) connectivity and cloud application access across any IP network with the reliability and predictability of private networks. Together, Oracle and Talari will accelerate digital transformation and cloud adoption by providing companies with complete enterprise network solutions that ensure reliability and performance of real-time communications and mission-critical applications over any network.
We are thrilled to join forces with Talari and welcome their team to Oracle’s Communications Global Business Unit.
Oracle’s industry organizations maintain unique domain knowledge, specialized expertise and focused product investments, which currently includes more than 21,000 Oracle employees and over $700 million in annual R&D spend. This model has proven highly successful across several industries, and we look forward to bringing these same benefits to the customers of Talari.
