When she came to the US for graduate school, Erin Sun remembers when a professor during a career consultation advised her to return to Taiwan for a better chance at starting her career. He said because English was not her first language, her opportunities in the marketing field in the US might be limited. But against his judgement, she stayed and has never left since. Now a Director of SCM Product Marketing at Oracle, Sun is committed to eradicating the unconscious bias she has encountered in the past.
