Jeewika Ranaweera

Principal Hardware Engineer, Oracle

Bio: Jeewika is a principal hardware engineer at Oracle’s SPARC microprocessor team and a steering committee member for IEEE Future Directions and Digital Reality initiatives. Holding a Ph.D. in ECE from the University of Toronto, her time is split between being an author, an illustrator, a frequent conference speaker, and an avid volunteer for Oracle Women’s Leadership, organizing International Day of the Girl events to ensure a world free of discrimination. In 2020, she received the "Outstanding member who promoted women in engineering" award from IEEE WIE SCV. Often delivering talks on quantum computing and immersive technologies that benefit humanity, her engineering journey is available as an eBook through IEEE WIE. She illustrated the first children’s book published by IEEE and holds five US Patents.

Bio: Working as a principal member of technical staff at Oracle's IoT division, Lynn is advancing the sector’s technology, commercialization strategies, and supply chain solutions by developing greater adoption and influencing emerging technologies. With over 15 years of diverse software engineering experience, she holds two US patents and has served time as Vice President and Board Director to NATEA-SV (North America Taiwan Engineering Association - Silicon Valley). Outside of work, Lynn enjoys volunteering, a love that has led her to spend many years at Ronald McDonald House Charities, supporting families with ill and injured children and helping to raise funds for Bay Area branch.

Bio: Part of Oracle’s IoT division, Divya is a software developer with over four years of experience and a master's degree from Santa Clara University. She is currently working on intelligent automation for software assurance of IoT and supply chain solutions. Her role is to develop more robust and independent automated tests for high-quality and secured IoT applications. Passionate about education, she has always worked towards encouraging students' to create positive impact by volunteering for outreach programs. Some of her proudest achievements include positively influencing young rural girls in India to get an education.
