David Callaghan

Senior Vice President, Alliances and Channels,
Oracle Europe, Middle East, and Africa


David Callaghan is the senior vice president of Alliances and Channels for Oracle Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He is responsible for all elements of the Oracle Partner Network across the region and leads Oracle as it continues to deliver customer success and value through the comprehensive portfolio of Oracle’s product stack and cloud offerings.

Callaghan has been with Oracle for 15 years and previously held the role of senior vice president for Oracle UK, Ireland, and Israel. As UK country leader, he worked closely with customers and partners to expand Oracle’s business in the UK and beyond.

Callaghan joined Oracle from KPMG Consulting, where he was responsible for technology solutions in the UK and EMEA for three years. Prior to his role at KPMG, he worked at Digital Equipment Corporation for 11 years, where he held senior management roles at the UK, EMEA, and global levels.

Callaghan has worked in the IT industry for more than 35 years. He holds a BSc in mathematics and computing from Newcastle University and is a member of the UK CBI Presidents Committee. He is also president of the British Quality Foundation, serves on the board of e-skills UK, and is a former president (2010 to 2013) of Intellect (now techUK). In addition, Callaghan has also served on the board of the London Business School Centre for Corporate Governance.
