Senior Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Hospitality
As senior vice president and general manager of Oracle Hospitality, Greg Webb is responsible for strategy, enablement, development, sales, service, and support. Oracle Hospitality provides deep, industry-specific domain expertise to deliver mission-critical solutions that help hotel, casino, and cruise customers realize their most important business initiatives.
Webb has spent the past two decades building profitable ecommerce, digital, and mobile technology, including the most-used mobile app in the travel industry. He has spent the majority of his career solving for many of the strategic challenges of the digital age: monetizing big data, monetizing each digital visitor, outpacing disruption, and reducing barriers to market entry.
Webb was most recently vice chairman at Sabre, a leading global travel technology and services company with more than $3.2 billion in annual revenue. He started at Sabre as vice president of development, briefly leaving to be chief information officer at BellSouth, where he built the DSL business and managed a $1 billion IT budget. Sabre recruited Webb back as senior vice president of global product marketing, responsible for the product and technology portfolio for Travel Network and Sabre Airline Solutions. He became the company’s top product development executive, was promoted to chief marketing officer, then head of its largest business unit, and finally, to vice chairman.
Webb’s career has allowed him to build a global network of strategic contacts, both business and political. Webb currently serves on the boards of Upper Hand, a sports management software platform, and Zyston, a security advisory firm.
Webb earned a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Louisiana Tech University, and a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Southern Methodist University.
