New program helps partners showcase their expertise and accelerate their Oracle Cloud businesses.

Businesses are no longer asking if they should move to the cloud—but when and how. By 2018, say analysts at IDC, at least half of IT spending will be for cloud-based services. This strategic shift is complex, however, as companies move to the cloud job by job, working in a hybrid environment as they go.

Many companies have turned to experienced guides from Oracle’s partner ecosystem to help navigate the journey. This dedicated partner community brings deep expertise to the table, and Oracle is committed to supporting them with transformative new cloud programs from Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).

The new OPN Cloud program provides opportunities for partners to quickly build successful businesses around Oracle Cloud. The program helps accelerate innovation, lead business transformation, and fully realize the competitive advantages offered through Oracle Cloud.

The program offers designations that let partners showcase their expertise, skills, and investment in Oracle Cloud and strengthen their value to joint customers. Tiers include:

Oracle Partner Network Cloud Program
  • Cloud Standard—As the first tier in the program, Cloud Standard is designed to help partners differentiate themselves in the market. These partners have developed skills and expertise in Oracle Cloud services and are typically focused on a specific or specialized solution within one of Oracle’s key product pillars. Oracle is committed to helping Cloud Standard partners increase their cloud expertise and leverage opportunities around Oracle Cloud Services to grow their Oracle Cloud business.
  • Cloud Select—Partners at the Cloud Select tier have expertise in Oracle Cloud services and dedicated teams focused specifically on driving their Oracle Cloud business. Cloud Select partners’ expertise is validated by achieving cloud specialization and/or developing and selling Oracle Cloud technology or services, as well as through successfully working with customers to launch their Oracle Cloud Services solutions. OPN members who have attained the Cloud Select designation will be recognized with additional benefits to help them go to market more effectively in the key areas of sales, enablement, support, development, and marketing.
  • Cloud Premier—Recognized for their proven success with Oracle Cloud Services, Cloud Premier partners have transformed their business to focus specifically on driving their Oracle Cloud solutions with successful and repeatable customer use cases. Cloud Premier partners feature a number of cloud specializations or applications integrated with or built on Oracle Cloud Services, dedicated Oracle Cloud teams, Certified Oracle Cloud Implementation Specialists, and multiple customer success stories. Partners at this level will benefit from high levels of enablement, go-to-market, and engagement resources within their regions.
  • Cloud Elite—The highest program designation, Cloud Elite features highly skilled and committed partners who have demonstrated full investment across the depth and breadth of Oracle Cloud solutions and dedication to delivering them to joint customers. These partners attain their initial status by driving a significant amount of Oracle Cloud business. Once partners attain this tier, either regionally as a Cloud Elite partner or globally as a Global Cloud Elite partner, they will achieve recognition for their extensive expertise within specific Oracle Cloud product pillars. Expertise will be validated by achieving multiple specializations, advanced specializations, and fixed-scope repeatable customer use case offerings, as well as through the number of successful customer implementations completed by the partner. Cloud Elite partners will be priority go-to-market partners who will benefit from the highest engagement and commitment from Oracle for joint, focused cloud business growth.
