As SVP for EMEA & JAPAC Applications Business Development, Francois-Xavier Leclercq is part of the EMEA & JAPAC Management Committee and leads the Oracle Insight, Go to Market strategy and Demand Generation for all Oracle Applications portfolio in these geographies.
He manages a team of management/strategy consultants, solution experts, Business Consulting, Business developers and demand generation managers who work closely with Applications Sales teams in Applications, as well as Product Development, Marketing, and Industry business units, in order to support the continued success of Oracle's Applications Cloud solutions across EMEA & JAPAC.
Prior to leading his current role, Francois-Xavier had leadership roles in Sales Consulting, Presales and Top Talent program within Oracle. Francois-Xavier joined Oracle via the Hyperion acquisition, where he had spent a decade in a range of roles, including leadership of EMEA Client Services.
Dr. Thomas Schüle is a Vice President in Oracle’s Cloud Insight team. He is based in Munich and leads Cloud Insight activities across EMEA, APAC and Japan.
In addition, Dr. Schüle focuses his time on advising Oracle‘s strategic customers in regards to their digital and Cloud-based transformations by recommending innovative and industry-proven solutions. Dr. Schüle held several leadership positions within Oracle such as driving Siebel Systems’ multi-channel consulting services as well as its EMEA wide alliance activities with Accenture. Prior to joining Oracle, he started his career at KPMG as a consultant in the CRM practice.
Dr. Schüle holds a PHD in Business from the University of Johannes Kepler in Linz as well as a Masters degree in economics from the University of Freiburg. Furthermore, he pursued several executive education programs with top academic insitutions such as London Business School (LBS).
Atsushi Maekawa is a Vice President in Oracle’s Cloud Insight team. He is based in Tokyo and leads Cloud Insight activities across APAC and Japan.
Prior to joining Oracle, Atsushi spent two decades in the consulting industry, advising C-suites of multinational enterprises in the US, Japan and across Asia Pacific countries on a wide range of strategic business and technology management issues. He was a key leader of McKinsey & Company's Automotive practice in Japan and Business Technology Office (now a part of Digital McKinsey) in APAC. He also held various leadership roles at Accenture in the US and Japan, most recently as Managing Director at Accenture Strategy in Japan, leading its Technology Strategy practice with industry focus in Insurance. During his tenure at Accenture, Atsushi took a special one-year assignment in Microsoft HQ to work as an Early Adopter Program Manager for the next generation .NET Enterprise Server product suite.
Atsushi holds an MBA from INSEAD in France/Singapore as well as double BS degrees in Computer Sciences and Economics from the University of Wisconsin in the US. He is a frequent contributor of thought leadership articles in leading business publications, including Diamond Harvard Business Review.
Ken Uchiyama is a Vice President of Cloud Insight. He is located in Japan where he leads the Cloud Insight Japan team.
His experience include leading advisors monetizing data at Mastercard Japan and serving financial institutions and high-tech clients as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in Tokyo. In addition, Ken has lectured on the topics of FinTech and Big Data in the MBA programs at the Universities Hitotsubashi and Business Breakthrough. He holds a Bachelor degree in Physics from Tsukuba University.
Michael brings over a 20 year track record of individual contribution and managing high performance teams spanning strategy consulting, product management, business development and finance. Michael currently leads the Oracle Cloud Business Value Services team in NATD which is focused on helping Oracle’s largest and most strategic customers to develop and understand the business value of logically transitioning their technology infrastructure to Oracle’s PaaS and IaaS Cloud Services. During his tenure at Oracle he has worked with several strategic clients including; Merck, Pfizer, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Wells Fargo and GE Healthcare to architect business transformation and cloud strategies optimizing operational performance and delivering superior business results. Michael came to Oracle through its acquisition of Siebel Systems where he spent seven years and was a founding member of two early stage product lines and the developer of a patented business assessment tool (US 7,684,993, Granted March 2010). Prior to Siebel, Michael was a Vice President at Bank of America where he managed the banking relationships of several large technology and biotechnology companies.
Michael holds a Masters of Business Administration in Management & Strategy and Finance (with Distinction) from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Finance from Purdue University.
