Founded in 2017, Atlas Renewable Energy develops, funds, builds, and operates solar and wind projects on a large scale in Brazil. To support its growing operation, Atlas began modernizing several back-office processes in its financial and accounting departments, with the goal of increasing productivity, automating processes, and speeding up financial closings. The company adopted Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) because it was a complete package with a focus on scenario planning, security, stability, and scalability. After implementing Cloud ERP, the company automated the payment receipt process and reduced the month-end close from 15 days to 5. Oracle Cloud ERP’s process automation allowed the finance team to maintain a lean structure while still serving all areas of the company.
