Ferrovial is one of the main infrastructure and services operators in Spain, whose mission is to develop sustainable solutions. The company’s activities are carried out by four business units: airports (investment and operation), highways (promotion, investment, and operation of highways and other infrastructures), construction (design and construction of civilian infrastructures and industrial construction), and services (efficient provision of urban and environmental services and maintenance of infrastructure and installations).

  • Simplify user management and authentication for more than 14,000 internal and external users ensuring fast uptake and satisfaction while meeting corporate security standards
  • Arrange and standardize access controls, personnel identification management, and external access to applications to improve productivity and reduce response times
  • Implement rigorous and unified user data access controls, centralizing operations and management as well as standardizing processes to eliminate administrative procedures and create immediate workflow processes
  • Facilitate user access to Ferrovial’s corporate applications from any mobile device, making processes such as purchase orders, invoices, or vacation approvals more agile

  • Consolidated various identity archives into a single one, eliminating duplicates and inactive accounts and enabling Ferrovial to simply and flexibly monitor users and their access in line with corporate security policies
  • Enabled Ferrovial to significantly reduce user registration and deregistration time by automating processes

  • Implemented a responsive mobile application using JQuery Mobile that supports workflows and approvals using employees’ own mobile devices, simplifying deployment to multiple device platforms and form factors and leveraging SOA-based services exposed through Oracle SOA Suite
  • Guaranteed maximum security and improved efficiency of mobile apps with Oracle Identity Manager and Oracle Access Manager, simplifying authentication processes using a user’s cell phone, minimizing the number of interactions with the device, and optimizing the applications for all work conditions, such as on a construction site
