Minor Hotels is an international hotel owner, operator, and investor with 535 hotels in 55 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America.
As part of its digital transformation strategy, Minor Hotels decided to move Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Hyperion, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Hyperion and OBIEE are running in Oracle’s Seoul cloud region, with the Tokyo region as a secondary site.
Minor Hotels improved business continuity RTO and RPO from 24 hours to 2 hours and increased automation with OCI and Oracle Data Guard. OCI allowed Minor Hotels to comply with GDPR compliance for business continuity strategy and data security.
