Rakuten Card Co., Ltd. is financial technology company and is part of Rakuten Group, an e-commerce platform provider in Japan. It provides credit card issuance, credit assurance, and credit loan services. As a ‘technology-driven’ player in the industry, Rakuten Card aims to improve customer experience by offering various online services—from email marketing to credit card application and account management.

With the Japanese government’s initiative to promote cashless transactions, Rakuten Card’s annual growth rate is 20%, leading to a sharp increase in credit card transactions.
