U.S. Concrete Updates Budgeting Scenarios in Minutes versus Days to Drive More Agile and Accurate Planning and Reporting

U.S. Concrete serves major construction markets in the United States through its two business segments: ready-mixed concrete and aggregate products. The company provides its products and services to markets in Texas, Northern California, New Jersey, New York, Washington, D.C. and Oklahoma. U.S. Concrete is expanding rapidly via organic growth and through more than 30 acquisitions since 2013.

With multiple business units, newly acquired companies, and various budget models across the company, U.S. Concrete needed a solution that supported more consistent and accurate planning and budgeting. It also wanted greater visibility and the ability to analyze enterprise performance to drive continued growth. The company deployed Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service to meet these goals, expand visibility into granular information, and ensure budget transparency and standardization.
