Founded in 1990, Viasoft is a provider of business management software and services, specializing in industry segments ranging from agribusiness to logistics.
To ensure that the company anticipated customer needs and found ways to add best practices, the company sought to offer its solutions in the cloud. Viasoft also wanted to ensure that its customers had the best cloud experience at an affordable cost.

Viasoft selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) based on Oracle’s differentiated technical support and secure, scalable, high-performance framework. As an existing Oracle Database customer, Viasoft also determined that adopting Oracle’s cloud platform would make integration easier.

Results
After migrating to OCI, Viasoft actively managed resources and maintained proper scaling and performance even at times of higher demand and consumption. In addition, OCI’s disaster recovery environment and infrastructure ensured greater security for both Viasoft and its customers.
Following the migration to OCI, in just four months the company saw growth of approximately 400% in revenue. The company also increased its customer base and grew marketed licenses. Viasoft intends to have all customers in the cloud in a maximum of three years.
