Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPAT® Version 2.3 - April 2019

Name of Product:

Oracle Machine Learning for Python (Updated) 1.0.0

Product Description:

Oracle Machine Learning for Python, a component of the Oracle Advanced Analytics Option to Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, makes the open source Python scripting language and environment ready for the enterprise and big data. Oracle Machine Learning for Python integrates Python with Oracle Database and provides a comprehensive, database-centric environment for end-to-end analytical processes in Python, with immediate deployment to production environments. Users execute Python functions on database-resident data for data exploration and preparation while seamlessly leveraging Oracle Database as a high-performance computing (HPC) environment. Further, Python users can natively invoke powerful in-database machine learning algorithms from Python, and develop and operationalize Python scripts for analytical applications. Oracle Machine Learning for Python introduces new capabilities for automated model selection, feature selection, and tuning of algorithm hyperparameters – automating and simplifying key data science tasks to minimize laborious and time-consuming tasks for data scientists.

Oracle Machine Learning for Python does not have a user interface, rather it is an API. The installer is also a command line interface.
