Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPAT® Version 2.0 - October 2017

Name of Product:

StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library 3.50

Product Description:

The SL150 Tape Library is the entry level automated tape storage device with up to 450 LTO tape cartridges and 30 LTO Half-height tape drives. Normal control and data movement into the library is accomplished through the Fibre Channel or SAS interfaces on the LTO tape drives. The robotic library then moves the LTO tape cartridges from slots to LTO tape drives based upon SCSI medium changer commands from external Host and Software applications over these same Fibre Channel or SAS interfaces without human interaction.

Advanced setup and management is accomplished via the remote web browser-based user interface.  Simple monitoring of the library is accomplished via the front control panel and/or remote web browser-based user interface.  The remote web browser user interface has capability to perform the SL150 functionality unlike the the front control panel that has a subset of the user interface.

This VPAT covers the following product user interfaces (UIs) to the extent those UIs are seen in this product:

  • Oracle Weblogic Server 11g Release 1 10.3.6
  • ADF Faces Rich Client Components 11.1.1.9.0

Date:

13-Jun-2018

Archive Note:

This VPAT applies to only version 3.50 prior to 21-Feb-2020. It does not apply to any versions of StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library after this. This VPAT has been superseded by StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library 3.50 (Updated).

Notes:

This VPAT does not cover the following SL150 Modular Tape Library product areas:

  • On board touch screen operator panel is used for basic monitoring of the product via touch screen. It has limited functional ability and is not accessible.  All functionality in this interface is available in the web browser-based user interface, which is covered by this VPAT.
  • Initial Setup Wizard on the on board touch screen operator panel, which is only run to initialize the primary connection values needed to connect to this library, along with setting up date/time, primary administrator password is not covered by this VPAT.  The initial setup wizard is run minimally once (upon first time being powered on after shipment from the manufacturing facility); it will also be run at the extremely rare occasion a user requests the product be reset back to factory default settings.

This VPAT applies to HTML versions of the online Help and the User's Guide only. This VPAT does not cover:

  • PDF, mobi, ePub, and print versions of the product documentation.
  • Product documentation in HTML format other than the User's Guide.
  • Oracle Help Center, Library Version

Evaluation Methods Used:
