Application Express is a web-based development framework for building web applications. There are known issues with this product, which have been cited in this document under one or more of the following categories:
Application Express is a modern, web-based development framework, and as such relies on modern web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and WAI-ARIA. The information supplied in this VPAT only applies when the product is used with Firefox and JAWS. Additionally, the accessibility runtime modes 'Screen Reader' or 'High Contrast' must be set accordingly, as listed below.

This VPAT applies to only version 5.0.1. It does not apply to any versions of Oracle Application Express after this. This VPAT has been superseded by Oracle Application Express 5.0.4.
