The initiative aims to develop core computing knowledge and skills for the future of work for 1,200 educators and 15,000 students across the country
Jakarta—May 10, 2022The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (MCI) in Indonesia and Oracle Indonesia have signed an agreement to integrate Oracle Academy programs into MCI’s initiatives on the Digital Talent Scholarship, Fresh Graduate Academy(DTS FGA) program. Aimed at training 1,200 educators and 15,000 students across Indonesia over the next 4 years, the collaboration provides a platform for more than 100 higher education institutes in the country to join Oracle’s philanthropic educational program. Oracle Academy offers institutions and educators access to a wide range of teaching and educational resources, including curriculum, teaching, and learning resources, software, cloud technology, practice environments, and much more.
The DTS FGA program is a competency improvement program in the ICT field that focuses on delivering training to final-year college students and fresh university graduates in partnership with leading tech organizations. The agreement can help enable MCI to provide graduates with career-ready technology skills to help improve their employability with the digital skills they need for career success.

Subjects focusing on Oracle technologies are part of the core competencies needed by various industries. This collaboration can enable educators to keep up with ever-changing technologies and software to help prepare students for their future, empowering them to facilitate innovative student learning in and outside the classroom. Students and faculties will have access to key curricula, including Java Fundamentals, Java Foundations, Java Programming, Artificial Intelligence with Machine Learning in Java, Database & Design & Programming with SQL, Oracle Application Express-Application Development Foundations, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations I and II, and Primavera P6 Professional Project Management Fundamentals.
