Vice President and Regional Managing Director, Oracle India
Shailender Kumar is managing director for Oracle India. His primary responsibility is to grow Oracle's business in India, increase Oracle's market share across all product lines and solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive Oracle's corporate citizenship initiatives in the country. As managing director, Kumar leads a team of sales and sales consulting professionals from all lines of business—including technology, applications, middleware, and systems—that is focused on delivering Oracle solutions to more than 7,000 customers in India. Kumar also oversees new businesses such as the public sector unit, geoexpansion into tier 2 and tier 3 markets, key accounts programs, and the cloud business.
Prior to his current role, Kumar was group vice president, key accounts program, and he grew this business into one of Oracle India's most successful programs. Under his leadership, the key accounts team became a significant contributor to Oracle India's overall revenue and a critical asset of Oracle India's growth strategy. He also successfully orchestrated a tightly integrated working model between the line of business leaders and key account directors, which resulted in high profile transformational business for Oracle India. Previously, Kumar served as vice president for India's Oracle Fusion Middleware business.
Before joining Oracle, Kumar was managing director at Quest Software and BEA Systems India Private Limited. In previous assignments, he has held senior positions at Microsoft India and IBM India. Kumar started his career with CMC Limited.
Kumar holds a postgraduate degree in business management from the Institute of Management Technology and received his engineering degree from the Institute of Engineers.
Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director, Oracle Asia
Roger Li is senior vice president and managing director for Oracle China, responsible for Oracle’s overall business across the region. He is dedicated to delivering on commitments to both customers and partners, accelerating market penetration of Oracle’s full line of products, and enhancing the leadership of Oracle's core business, including cloud computing, Oracle Engineered Systems, and storage.
Li has more than 30 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industries in China, Asia Pacific, and North America. He has been with Oracle for more than 12 years, serving in a range of senior management positions.
Prior to being appointed managing director of Oracle China, Li was senior vice president for the technology business unit at Oracle Asia Pacific. During his tenure, his team boosted sales of Oracle Database and Oracle Exadata in Asia Pacific and maintained the lead position in the market segment.
Following the BEA acquisition in 2008, Li was senior vice president for Oracle Middleware in Asia Pacific from 2008 to 2011. He led a successful integration and ensured that Oracle maintained market leadership in the region.
From 2006 to 2008, Li held the role of managing director for Oracle China. He led the management team in establishing new business opportunities, directing strategic decision-making, boosting long-term customer satisfaction, and overseeing business operations across the region.
His leadership was also evident in Oracle’s significant presence in the enterprise segment by providing large conglomerates such as China Mobile, Bank of China, and the public sector in China with a choice of applications, middleware, and database technologies. During his tenure, Oracle extended customer reach in high-growth cities by establishing 16 branches across China.
SVP, Data and In-Memory Technologies, Oracle Corporation
Tirthankar Lahiri is Senior Vice President of the Data and In-Memory Technologies group for Oracle Database and is responsible for the Oracle Database Engine (including Database In-Memory, Data and Indexes, Space Management, Transactions, and the Database File System), the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database, and Oracle NoSQLDB. Tirthankar has over 20 years of experience in the Database industry and has worked extensively in a variety of areas including Manageability, Performance, Scalability, High Availability, Caching, Distributed Concurrency Control, In-Memory Data Management, NoSQL architectures, etc. He has 27 issued patents and several pending patents. Tirthankar has a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur) and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and several conference and journal publications.
SVP, Corporate Marketing, Oracle Corporation
Rupal Shah Hollenbeck is senior vice president of corporate marketing at Oracle. She leads the company’s corporate marketing organization, including significant aspects of marketing direction and innovation. Under Hollenbeck’s leadership, marketing is focused on leveraging Oracle’s history of innovation and customer focus to help propel the company’s future.
Prior to joining Oracle, Hollenbeck spent 23 years at Intel Corporation. During that time, she held leadership positions across a wide variety of supply chain management and go-to-market functions in the US, Singapore, and China. These included marketing director and consumption sales director for Asia-Pacific, and sales and marketing general manager of the China region. Most recently, she served as corporate vice president and general manager of worldwide sales and marketing for the Data Center Group. She was a member of the company’s Network of Executive Women and started the chapter in Asia.
Hollenbeck is passionate about building organizations that are designed for the success of the business and the employee. She holds a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor’s in finance and international studies from Boston College.
Senior Vice President, Product Development, Oracle Corporation
Raghu Venkatasubramanian is a Senior Vice President, responsible for the Analytics services in the Oracle Database. Raghu has held many leadership positions at Oracle for over twenty years. In recent years, Raghu built the Analytics PaaS services (Oracle Analytics Cloud, BI Cloud Service and Data Visualization Cloud Service). Raghu also led the development of all the analytic experiences within the Oracle SaaS portfolio (ERP cloud, CX cloud and HCM cloud). Raghu has a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and an MBA from University of California Berkeley.
CMO EMEA, Japan and Asia Pacific, Oracle
Amanda St L Jobbins is the CMO of Oracle’s international markets in EMEA, Japan and Asia Pacific.
Amanda is a well-known international technology marketer having formerly been the Global CMO of the Sage Group, Plc and having worked for many years in global and field leadership positions in Silicon Valley & internationally. She has worked for amongst others Cisco, IBM, EMC & Symantec.
In addition to marketing, Amanda is also the Senior Vice President of Oracle’s Digital Demand Generation & Business Development teams, leading hub-based organisations all over the world focusing on reimagining Oracle’s customer experience approach through a combination of digital and physical engagements.
Amanda speaks on business issues, industry technology trends, marketing leadership, diversity and has keynoted at the London Business School, WebSummit on Brand, the Economist forums and Gartner events amongst many others. Amanda has a degree in Business Administration & German Language & Literature from the University of Hull, England. She has also studied at Stanford, Rice University & MIT on their executive programs. Amanda has a passion for technology start-ups and is a board advisor to a number of early stage companies including Fintech, IoT & Blockchain companies. Amanda lives in Dubai and in her free time enjoys film, music, outdoor pursuits and the arts.
Vice President, Product Management, Oracle Corporation
Ashish Ray is Vice President of Product Management within Oracle’s core database development organization. His product responsibilities include Exadata, Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance, Oracle Database’s High Availability solutions (Maximum Availability Architecture), and associated Cloud Services. Ashish has 25+ years of combined experience in software architecture design, software development and product management, focusing largely on the reliability, availability and scalability issues of enterprise computing. He has a BS in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, an MS in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
Vice President of Product Management, Oracle Corporation
Vinay Kumar is vice president of product management for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. He is responsible for scaling the business by driving product strategy, the technical roadmap and partner ecosystem, and go-to-market initiatives. He leads a team of engineers, industry specialists, evangelists, and field-enablement specialists.
Kumar is one of the founding members of Oracle’s cloud engineering development center in Seattle and is tasked with building next-generation Oracle Cloud solutions. Prior to joining Oracle, he led product management for Amazon Web Services (AWS) including Elastic Block Store and Simple Storage Service. Before that, he spent several years working for EMC and Akamai.
Kumar holds a BE in electronics and communication from Bangalore University and an MBA from Babson College.
