Mark Reinhold
Chief architect of the Java Platform group, OracleMark Reinhold is chief architect of the Java Platform group. His contributions to the platform include character-stream readers and writers, reference objects, the NIO high-performance I/O APIs, library generification, and service loaders. He was the lead engineer for the JDK 1.2 and 5.0 releases, the JCP specification lead for Java SE 6, and both the project and specification lead for JDK 7 and JDK 8. He currently leads the JDK 9 and Jigsaw projects in the OpenJDK Community, where he also serves on the governing board.

Bert Ertman
Fellow at LuminisFellow at Luminis, in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Besides his day job, Bert served as the Java User Group leader for NLJUG, the Dutch Java User Group for the past decade. A speaker on Java and Software Architecture related topics at conferences all over the world. In 2008, Bert was awarded the coveted title of Java Champion by an international panel of Java leaders and luminaries. He is also the co-author of the book ‘Building Modular Cloud Apps with OSGi’. Bert is a JavaOne Rock Star Speaker and a Duke‘s Choice Award winner.

Holly Cummins
Technical lead in IBM’s London Bluemix GarageHolly Cummins is a technical lead in IBM’s London Bluemix Garage, which uses lean startup, extreme programming, and design thinking to help companies, large and small, innovate on the Bluemix PaaS. She is a coauthor of Enterprise OSGi in Action and has spoken at JavaOne, Devoxx, QCon, Jfokus, JavaZone, The ServerSide Java Symposium, JAX London, GeeCon, and the Great Indian Developer Summit, as well as a number of user group meetings.

Mark Cavage
VP of Development, OracleMark Cavage is Vice President of development for Oracle’s Application Development portfolio, and previously held the role as CTO for Oracle’s IaaS offerings. Prior to joining Oracle, Mark was at Joyent, where he was the product visionary and lead engineer for Manta Storage Service, and VP of Engineering. Before Joyent, Mark was a senior engineer at Amazon Web Services, where in addition to delivering a number of for services, he was chief architect and engineer of the AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) Service.
