Oregon Community Organizations Enhance Services with Oracle NetSuite for Government

Cascades West Council of Governments and Community Services Consortium leverage NetSuite to increase efficiency and improve resource allocation

Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments and Community Services Consortium are using Oracle NetSuite for Government to improve the efficiency of their operations. With the offering, the Oregon non-profits can simplify and streamline accounting processes to enhance reporting and decision making and better allocate resources to essential community services.

Supported by federal, state, and local funds, as well as private grants and donations Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments and Community Services Consortium invest $20 million a year in community services, including housing and utility bill assistance, reaching tens of thousands of people in Oregon’s Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and Polk counties. To eliminate data redundancy, improve information management, and automate previously manual reporting processes, the organizations needed to replace existing legacy systems with an integrated and scalable business platform. This is especially critical in producing quarterly fund and service reports, which each require different levels of information from the state and other supporting organizations.
