Get Ready for Java 22! |
Java Developer Relations Team Live Stream! |

Java 22 will be released on Tuesday March 19th, and the Java Developer Relations team will celebrate the release with a live stream on the Java YouTube channel at 17:00 UTC. Expect technical presentations, live-coding, and conversations with the OpenJDK engineers building the technology — all diving into Java 22's awesome features as well as giving an outlook for what to expect from future releases.

Voxxed Days CERN was held in January and Ana-Maria Mihalceanu and Nicolai Parlog delivered two technical sessions:
On March 7th Ana-Maria and Nicolai will present sessions at Voxxed Days Zürich, and then March 27th to 29th Ana-Maria will do a session at Voxxed Days Bucharest.
The Java engineering team was at Jfokus in Stockholm in early February and they have many stories to tell from their keynotes, sessions, and community conversations. The first video from the event is out now! More coming soon!
If you are in Atlanta, stop by Devnexus April 9th and 11th to meet some Java engineers at the Oracle booth and participate in their sessions and hallway conversations. The schedule will be posted at the Devnexus website soon.
On March 20th, Crystal Furman, Paul Sandoz, and Heather Stephens will present a workshop "Exploring Java Programming after Java Version 8" at the SIGCSE Technical Symposium 2024 in partnership with Shawn Lupoli from Texas A&M, CS Professor and CS 1/2 curriculum leader, and Jamila Cocchiola, product manager of grades 6-12 CS curriculum at Code.org.
