JChateau Unconference
The 3rd edition of the JChateau unconference was held in France between March 6th and 9th. About 30 people joined for 3 days of in-depth technical discussions about Java. On the overall, we could set up 27 sessions on many subjects, including AI and LLM, Stream Gatherers, the Lilliput project, CRaC, native applications, JFR, Valhalla, and much more.
Typically, technical sessions in unconferences only occupy half of the day. And for the other half of the day we make outings, we visit chateaux, we do wine tasting, or even pastry workshops. These events are important because they give us a chance for more technical conversations, to continue what has been already talked about during the sessions, and for further connectiveness.
JChateau is an unconference organized by the Paris Java Use Group in March in La Loire Valley, close to Paris. It is part of the JUnconference Alliance, which you can check for links to the next unconference near you.
The next edition of JChateau will be organized in March 2025. In the meantime, you can definitely come to JAlba in May in Edinburgh. Registration is open now!
