Using Oracle Universal Installer, you install Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET.
Before you perform this tutorial, you should:
| 1. | Install Microsoft Development Environment 2003 |

| 2. | Perform the Installing Oracle Database 10g on Windows tutorial. |

In order to install Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET, you must perform the following steps:
| 1. | Download the software from http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/dotnet/tools/index.html and place the executable application in a temporary directory. Click on the executable.
|

| 2. | In the install directory, double-click setup.exe.
|
|
| 3. | At Oracle Universal Installer: Welcome page, click Next.
|
|
| 4. | Install Oracle Developer Tools into a new Oracle Database 10g Oracle Home. You should not install into a Oracle8 or Oracle9 Oracle Home. Enter OraClient10g_home1 for the Name and c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1 for the Path. Then click Next.

| 5. | Click Install.
|

| 6. | The Progress window appears.
|
|
| 7. | Your Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET is now complete. Click Exit, then click Yes to exit Oracle Universal Installer.
