Analyzing Sales History
Information using OracleBI Discoverer Plus Relational
Oracle Business Intelligence Discoverer Plus Relational
(Discoverer Plus Relational) is an ad hoc query and analysis tool.
It allows end users at all levels of the organization to gain immediate
access to data from a data warehouse, data mart, or transactional
system.
Discoverer Plus Relational is an intuitive tool
that is easy to learn and use. End users can create simple or complex
queries without having to write a single line of SQL code. Creating
or modifying a query is as easy as pointing and clicking or dragging
an item to a worksheet from a predefined business area (a business-oriented
view of the data). In addition to being easy to learn and use, Discoverer
Plus Relational is a powerful tool that leverages the analytic power
of the Oracle database. It satisfies the needs of novices, as well
as sophisticated power users and data analysts.
Business users can use Discoverer Plus Relational
to create reports that can be shared easily with other users, including
company executives. Reports can be viewed on the Web using Oracle
Business Intelligence Discoverer Viewer (Discoverer Viewer) or they
can be published to corporate and departmental portals or executive
dashboards.
Reports can be printed using high-fidelity printing,
and results can be exported to Microsoft ® Excel, XML, CSV,
