| Bubble Help | Version 2.0.0.0 |
| Description | |
Bubble help appears only on user interface (UI) components that users can select to perform certain actions (icon buttons, buttons, links, or tabs). Do not use bubble help for items in menu components, such as Action menus. Use bubble help to clarify the use of unlabeled UI components. In the exceptional case, use bubble help with labeled UI components when the actions associated with these components need further explanation. Do not write bubble help for the Alt text for the common Oracle Fusion icons. Make sure that bubble help text written for other icons can also serve as Alt text for these icons, as the text for both purposes is derived from the same source: the shortDesc property on the relevant Application Developer Framework (ADF) component. |

| Design Considerations | |
Consider these design tips when creating bubble help:
When deciding when to use bubble help versus Detail on Demand, remember that bubble help explains an object or action, while Detail on Demand elaborates on an object by delivering additional information about that object. |
