BART Sustainable Airport Transportation
Oracle highly recommends taking BART from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK). You can reduce your carbon footprint by taking BART and help Oracle achieve its Green Meeting sustainability goals for Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne 2014. Taking BART's direct service from SFO, or OAK or Millbrae will keep 20.4 pounds per passenger trip out of the air.Our BART goal this year is 35,000 pounds in reductions.
BART SFO to San Francisco Service
BART is the easy, inexpensive way to get from SFO to any of four downtown San Francisco stations in just 30 minutes. Here's a private Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne BART booking site to conveniently purchase round-trip transfers from SFO to downtown San Francisco hotels. Get your BART tickets here to save time and avoid lines at the SFO station. Vouchers must be exchanged at SFO for your BART ticket.
San Mateo/SFO area hotel guests can take our free conference shuttles from the hotels to the BART Millbrae station. We encourage you to use the Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne BART booking site to buy a multi-trip voucher/ticket from Millbrae BART to the conference. Vouchers should be exchanged at SFO for your BART ticket before going to your hotel. You will also save 20.4 lbs. of carbon per round trip ride.
Attendees arriving at OAK and wishing to take BART to San Francisco should proceed to the AirBART shuttle stop on the traffic island and take the AirBART bus to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station. Deposit $3.00 in the AirBART fare box when you board. If you don't have a BART ticket, you can purchase a round-trip ticket at the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station for $8.10. Proceed upstairs and take a San Francisco- or Daly City-bound train. The trip from OAK to San Francisco generally takes 45 minutes via the AirBART shuttle and BART. Advanced purchase is not available for OAK arrivals.
