What factors will Oracle consider in determining who receives research cloud credits?

Credits are available to researchers and university accelerators across the globe. We will consider project complexity, duration, and scope, looking specifically at research projects that have the potential to profoundly impact people’s lives within the next five years.

What is the process to get access to an Oracle Cloud environment?

Here's the general flow:

  • Once we receive your completed application, we will determine if your proposal is a good fit for our program.
  • If approved, we’ll send you the signup instructions for your special Oracle Cloud account.
  • Take a few minutes to complete and submit the signup form.
  • Notification of your cloud tenancy credentials will be sent to an approved email address.

I’m a student and I don’t fit into any of the application categories. How do I access this program?

Students who are looking for hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud are invited totry Oracle Cloud for free.

Student entrepreneurs in the startup stage are welcome to enroll their startups in the Oracle for Startups program to take advantage of free cloud credits, deep discounts, and access to Oracle’s network of resources.

How many cloud credits will I receive?

Oracle for Research grants cloud credits based on qualifications that include the proposed milestones and outcomes of the research project, viability of data for our global community of researchers, overall project scope, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure workload size. Cloud credits granted by Oracle for Research may be used only to power workloads directly associated with approved research projects.

What are the terms and conditions for applying and accepting these credits?
