Ivgen Guner joined Oracle in 1996 and is currently executive vice president of Global Business Finance. In her role, Ivgen is responsible for providing decision support to all business units, including strategic planning, financial analysis, business intelligence system management, and management reporting. She is the executive sponsor for the internal deployment of Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), which Oracle has been live on since December 2016.
Ivgen has more than 25 years of finance, accounting, and executive management experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining Oracle in 1996, Ivgen was with Unisys Corporation for 13 years. She was instrumental to and an integral part of the Burroughs/Sperry merger, which formed Unisys, while also holding various financial management roles.
Ivgen holds a Master of Science in accounting from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan and graduated from Ankara University, Turkey, with a Master of Science in agricultural engineering and food and fermentation technology.
Laurel Ruma is the editorial director for MIT Technology Review in the US. She is also the host of the Business Lab podcast. Laurel was formerly the director of custom content at O’Reilly Media and brings more than 15 years of thought leadership and content strategy in the technology field.
Matt Stirrup joined Oracle in 2010 with the Sun Microsystems acquisition, where he worked since 2001. He is currently senior vice president within Oracle’s Global Business Finance team, with responsibilities for corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), as well as the business finance lead for R&D and cloud operations. His responsibilities include management of the company’s forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes; the development and management of management performance reporting; and partnering with Oracle’s development and cloud operations teams.
As part of Oracle’s internal transformation to the cloud, Matt has managed the implementation and deployment of Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) for use in Oracle’s forecasting and planning processes, and he has used Oracle’s tools in the development and delivery of management reporting and business insight.
Wayne has over 20 years’ experience in Enterprise Performance Management, helping customers solve complex problems in the office of finance. Having worked in technology for IBM and Oracle, he has helped many customers with their transformation journeys in the office of Finance and lines of business. As Executive Director of EPM Product Marketing for Oracle, Wayne continues to meet with customers to help them on their journey to gaining value in their organizations with EPM and how they should think about transformational technologies in finance. Wayne speaks at events and conferences and writes thought leadership articles related to the benefit of technology in finance.
Gustavo Amorim is vice president at Oracle, responsible for marketing strategies and plans for ERP, EPM and SCM solutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
With more than 15 years in the enterprise software industry, Gustavo Amorim is passionate on how technology enables transformation and empowers organizations and human beings in achieving great outcomes and in shaping the future of business. He is now very dedicated in helping Oracle´s customers realize the full potential of cloud applications in managing financial, operations and supply chain processes, leveraging intelligent technologies. Gustavo holds a MBA in Marketing from St. John´s University.
