JODC Improves Sales, Marketing, Property, and Project Management Efficiency by Unifying All Real Estate Operations with Oracle Cloud

Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC) is a large Saudi Arabian real estate developer principally engaged in the development, management, and sale of the Jabal Omar project in Makkah—a multi-use real estate mega development project within walking distance of The Grand Mosque of Makkah. Having recently experienced rapid growth for the Jabal Omar project, including a four-fold increase in staff numbers, the company needed a comprehensive, robust, and unified property management system to manage all its real estate projects and activities.
Business Challenge
  • Deploy a robust property management system powerful enough to manage all phases of more than 30 ongoing real estate developments for the Jabal Omar project
  • Improve marketing and sales efficiency by integrating processes and providing faster visibility of the details and status of each unit in all residential and commercial buildings
  • Automate processes and digitize the extensive documentation required for each real estate project to minimize project delays and ease the administrative burden on a workforce that has rapidly grown from 267 to 498 employees
  • Improve the cooperation and communication between real estate marketing, sales, project, and back office teams by replacing standalone on-premises applications with a unified property management platform in the cloud
  • Streamlined sales, property, and facility management for the multi-use Jabal Omar real estate project by deploying a property management solution based on Oracle Sales Cloud and Oracle Eloqua
  • Minimized project delays, reduced costs, and enhanced operational cohesion by managing all key real estate project phases on a single cloud platform—including tower units’ inventory management, marketing, and sales; estimations and contracts; and construction progress and project timelines
  • Improved property handling—involving the construction of more than 30 towers including hotels, residential buildings, and a mall—by providing marketing, sales, and project management teams with real-time visibility of all units available, reserved, and sold
  • Minimized labor-intensive, paper-based administration by moving to an Oracle Cloud platform with automated processes and digitized records—which are available anytime and anywhere, saving considerable time and effort for JODC’s workforce—which has recently quadrupled in size
  • Enhanced lead generation thanks to a solution fully integrated with social media, enabling JODC to identify where the Jabal Omar project has been mentioned on social media and generate prospective customer profiles for follow up and eventual conversion into sales
  • Improved visibility by providing managers with full insight into all sales activities across the entire project, enabling them to assess and reward sales team performance more accurately
  • Enhanced intra- and inter-departmental communications by replacing the disjointed legacy software with a unified Oracle Cloud architecture combining marketing, sales, human resources, and finance functions
  • Streamlined and simplified campaign management by seamlessly integrating marketing and sales processes for all property units across dozens of hotel and residential tower blocks and a shopping mall
  • Laid the foundation for future business expansion and innovation thanks to the integration capabilities of Oracle Cloud—enabling JODC to bring forward plans to implement further solutions for facility management, procurement, 3D printing, and the deployment of drones at construction sites for video progress reports

We selected Oracle Sales Cloud because of its power and comprehensiveness, which fulfilled our diverse and demanding business requirements for the entire Jabal Omar project. Also, it offered rapid installation with minimal tweaks, and great value for the money.
