The need for a sales solution was triggered by the business stakeholders, who for months had been testing out Salesforce. Both Salesforce and Oracle are leading players in the field of customer relationship management and sales automation, but what drives IT procurement is strategy, and we are an Oracle shop wall-to-wall—from finance and human resources to procurement, manufacturing and service.
