  1. 1. Browser support is no longer based on Operating Systems but strictly tied to the browser themselves, no matter which Operating Systems they are installed on. 2. IE9 and higher is recommended for use with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. The OBI EE User and Administration Guide covers a few topics where manual workaround is required to overcome limitations with the IE7 and IE8 browsers. IE9 is recommended with the setting enabled "Enable native XMLHTTP Support," which is the default setting. While corporate standards and individual testing decide browser choices, better performance is expected with browsers that are standards based using the CSS, HTML5, XHTML, and other W3C standards. 3. Bi-Directional support for IE7.x is not available. 4. Emulating versions of IE outside installed version using Document or Browser Mode settings is not supported.
