Capacity Estimator

This calculator provides an estimation on write units, read units, and storage capacity based on your application workload and database operations criteria. The estimation will be used to calculate the monthly bill in Oracle Cloud Cost Estimator.

Your Application Workload

Enter the following details for your application workload and database requirements. Then, click the Calculate button

The average record size in KB.The record size will be rounded to the nearest number for calcuation of read and write units
Estimated number of records your application writes to the table within a second. Unconditional write operations and NOT conditional (ifPresent or ifAbsent) operations.

Estimated number of records your application reads from the table within a second. This is simple GET operation and NOT Query.

Absolute - the data returned is guaranteed to be the most recently written data to the table.
Eventual - the data returned may not be the most recently written data to the table. If no new updates are made to the data, eventually all accesses to that data will return the latest updated value.

The total number of records in the table. This total will be used to calculate the storage needed for data and index

The total number of the secondary index in the table

Estimated number of records your application updates from the table within a second. The estimate assumes the updated records to be of same size as the original record.

Estimated number of records your application delete from the table within a second

The total number of records in the table. This total will be used to calculate the storage needed for data and index

The total number of the secondary index in the table
