Based on results from our 2022 “Value of EPM” survey, this infographic reveals that digital transformations have helped organizations to gain time by using the automation and best practice processes in Oracle Cloud EPM—time that can now be spent on more important strategic priorities, such as environmental, social, governance (ESG) initiatives.
Start by moving to Oracle Cloud EPM applications in the cloud—at your own pace—to leverage built-in best practices and technology innovations. Update your enterprise performance management processes, such as planning, financial close, enterprise data management, and more. All can be deployed as you need them.
Compliment one or more business processes by extending existing on-premises deployments with one or more business processes, such as tax reporting, account reconciliation, planning, profitability and cost management, and enterprise reporting.
Move to Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM by migrating from on-premises EPM to reinvent the way you connect people and processes. Gain all the benefits of a digital business: the latest innovations delivered via regular updates, social and mobile capabilities, meaningful insights delivered via personalized dashboards and reports, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more.
For existing users of on-premises Oracle Hyperion Planning, the connected planning capability in Oracle Cloud EPM is a great opportunity to address all your financial and operational needs. Oracle Cloud EPM features significant, next-generation innovations, including best practice planning capabilities and embedded AI and data science for accuracy and major performance enhancements. These capabilities enable you to perform scenario modeling, connect financial and operational plans with prebuilt modules, and gain new insights using large-scale what-if modeling—all through one complete, connected planning platform.
If we can use machine learning and AI to be able to take all that work out for people, then they can actually be financial analysts who do financial forecasts instead of data consolidators. We love innovation. We love new technology. We love the cloud.

Oracle Cloud EPM represents a great opportunity to address all of your EPM business processes—whether those are in the extended close and consolidation or planning and budgeting. Offered in one cloud solution, Oracle Cloud EPM is the next-generation EPM solution that leverages Hyperion’s more than 30 years of delivering market-leading capabilities for the office of finance. Oracle Cloud EPM has grown to be the most complete EPM suite, encompassing both breadth and depth across all EPM processes.
Oracle’s cloud EPM for the extended financial close has surpassed the capabilities delivered on-premises with Hyperion Financial Management, covering full close orchestration, comprehensive account reconciliation, consolidation, tax provisioning, and all management and statutory reporting. There are also many out-of-the-box capabilities, including automatic cash flow reporting at every level, data source tracking, and fully integrated intelligent process automation, that replace Hyperion’s custom solutions and simply need to be enabled in your cloud application. All of these advantages, delivered in a fresh and simplified user experience complete with modern dashboards, will improve user productivity and help make your business more agile, ultimately helping you move closer to a connected, continuous close.
I was surprised at how easy it was to move from Oracle Hyperion to Oracle Cloud EPM. I now have so much more than I did before. The updates are easy to take and aren’t disruptive and costly like they are with on-premises solutions.
