Business challenges

GNP Seguros is a Mexico-based insurance company that provides life, medical, casualty, and auto insurance policies to more than 4 million customers. It wanted to improve the efficiency of its services through process automation. The company also sought greater reliability, traceability, and agility in its budgeting processes. It looked for a system that would complement the functionality provided by Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), which had bolstered its data accuracy, capacity, and security.

Why GNP Seguros chose Oracle

To advance its innovation strategy and improve the efficiency of its services through task automation, GNP Seguros decided to adopt Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) with the additional Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM Planning module, which would further strengthen and consolidate its financial systems.

Results

After implementing Oracle Cloud EPM, the company gained up-to-date data that improved financial projections and budgeting processes. The system helped GNP Seguros maintain an accurate view of its business in the short, medium, and long term, which was critical to the company’s ability to quickly make informed, strategic decisions. Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM also strengthened alignment between business areas through data integration.

Partners

The project was completed in conjunction with GNP partner Nepanoa. The migration process was successful in fostering an open environment among the different areas of GNP Seguros.
