Oracle Access Management (OAM) is a complete and internet-scalable access management solution that simplifies and streamlines the aspects of access control in a heterogeneous deployment environment with different platforms, integrated applications and mobile devices. The administration console for OAM is Application Development Framework (ADF) based.

OAM consists of the following services:

Access Manager provides single sign-on, authentication, coarse-grained authorization and centralized session management capabilities for enterprise applications.
Identity Federation enables support for SAML and related protocols to enable cross-domain single-sign-on.
OAuth Service enables third party applications to obtain limited access to resources from Web, Mobile & Desktop applications.
