Andrew Mendelsohn is executive vice president for database server technologies at Oracle. He’s responsible for products and services centered around Oracle Database, including development, test, and product management of much of the core Oracle Database product. In addition, Mendelsohn’s responsibilities encompass cloud services, including Autonomous Data Warehouse and Autonomous Transaction Processing on shared infrastructure, Cloud SQL, Data Safe, and Big Data; developer tools such as Application Express (APEX) and SQL Developer; and database security products including Key Vault and Audit Vault/Database Firewall. Finally, Mendelsohn also runs customer support for Oracle Database Cloud Services and Oracle Database on Exadata.

Mendelsohn began his career at Oracle as a developer on Oracle Database 5.1 in 1984. Prior to joining Oracle, he worked at HP and ESVEL.

Mendelsohn holds a BSE in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University and did graduate work in computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Charles Arabome is the current Head, IT Operations at Union Bank of Nigeria, one of Nigeria’s most respected Banks. In his role, he manages the UNIX estate infrastructure team responsible for the overall systems operations of the Bank. Prior to taking on this role, He worked at United Bank for Africa (UBA) where he headed both the Systems Administration team as well as the Global Datacenter team.

Charles prides himself as a strategic thinker and leader with a strong desire for excellence. In his spare time, Charles prefers to do a lot of research.

John leads worldwide data center operations across the DOME-domains (Design, Office/Enterprise and Manufacturing). He is also responsible for all IT efforts supporting Construction activities @ Intel worldwide.

Martha serves CIOs and other tech leaders, helping them understand the impact of emerging technologies on their business. Martha provides in-depth coverage of blockchain technology and business intelligence (BI), as well as analytics and artificial intelligence at a strategic level. In her blockchain research, Martha focuses on demystifying this emerging technology, helping CIOs and strategy teams identify appropriate use cases and navigate the broad ecosystem of startups and established providers offering software and services. In her BI research, Martha analyzes the effect of emerging technologies and business pressures on the way BI capabilities are managed and delivered, and she helps CIOs and their business partners develop data and analytics strategies fit for the digital age.

Rajdeep Singh is the Digital Services Director at Serco Asia-Pacific, one of the world’s largest provider of public services to governments, employing over 50,000 people in over 20 countries, services that often of critical importance to the communities they serve. A transformation leader with extensive experience in leading people, digital, change and technology delivery, with experience in leading multiple functions in a large, complex, geographically dispersed organizations, with excellent understanding of business management and the strategic automation and renewed value that technology brings to the business. A veteran with over 20 years of experience, Raj is based in Melbourne, Australia.

Reinier van Grieken is the vice president for Cloud Systems in EMEA and is responsible for the hardware (systems, storage, and appliance) and engineered systems business. In this role he works with sales teams and business leaders to develop a culture committed to transforming organisations by simplifying IT.

Van Grieken has had a career of over 23 years with Oracle where he has held many different roles. Within the Systems organization he was vice president Server, Storage and ODA EMEA and prior to that UKI, BeNeLux and Iberia Systems Lead. Before that, he was managing director of Oracle Netherlands.

Van Grieken attended the London Business School.

Ashish Ray is the Vice-President of Product Management responsible for all product management aspects related to Oracle Autonomous Database - Dedicated (ATP), Oracle Exadata, Exadata Cloud Service, Exadata Cloud@Customer, Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS), Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), Database Backup & Archive Cloud Service, Oracle Secure Backup (OSB) and Oracle Database's core OLTP features such as Database High Availability (HA) and Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA).

Christian Craft is Senior Director of Product Management. He is an Oracle evangelist and advisor for regional and global companies focusing on Oracle Exadata, Exadata Cloud Service, Exadata Cloud at Customer, Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance, Database Backup & Archive Cloud Service, Oracle Secure Backup (OSB), Database High Availability (HA), HA Cloud Services, Database Sharding and Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA).

He is part of the Database Cloud Core Services Product Management team which is responsible for all product management aspects. His team is also directly responsible for database features such as Data Guard / Active Data Guard, Global Data Services (GDS), RMAN, Flashback, LogMiner, Transportable Tablespace / Database, Online Operations, Rolling Upgrades, etc.

Dario is Business Development Director for the Engineered Systems portfolio including Exadata and Exadata Cloud@Customer. He combines deep functional knowledge of the solution space with great experience of the Oracle Engineered Systems business and technological value.

Dario engages in multiple projects with customers and partners. He also acts as evangelist on topics such as Data Warehousing, Big Data, Analytics, Data center transformation and efficiency, Converged Infrastructure, Consolidation and Virtualisation, Secure Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Computing.

Dario joined Oracle in July 2010 through the acquisition of Sun Microsystems where he held Management responsibility for the Product Marketing Team in Southern Europe Middle East & Africa and for Software Marketing in Europe.

Diana leads Business Development for Oracle Cloud Systems across EMEA. She is an Oracle regional evangelist and a popular event speaker on the topic of how to drive faster and successful Cloud Systems adoption. Heading up a team of Sr. Architects and Business Development Directors she is a key advisor to business customers across EMEA resulting in their business growth.

Diana joined Oracle in 1998 and since then she has held many different roles in sales and business development organizations for different solutions of the Oracle portfolio, segments of the market and industries in EMEA and North America. Some of her great achievements at Oracle include the introduction of Oracle Engineered Systems and Cloud@Customer in EMEA, the definition and implementation of the first only-channel-driven territory in North American or the rollout of the new cloud sales GTM for Oracle Cloud Sales.

Edward Muthiga is Cloud Systems Sales Director for Central and Eastern Africa. He is responsible for enhancing organizational culture and building out a regional team for collaboration, mutual respect and authenticity that closely supports African business towards steady progress and wild success.

Elena Avesani is Global Sustainability Manager at Oracle Corporation. Elena joined Oracle in 1998 as applications consultant. In her current role, she works with a global team of internal and external stakeholders to drive Oracle's strategy on sustainability programs and to pioneer solutions for global social and environmental challenges through cloud computing, business analytics, and IoT. Elena holds a master's degree in International and Public Affairs from Columbia University, New York, and a master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Politecnico of Milan, Italy.

Jason Schaffer is the Vice President of Systems Product Management at Oracle. A 18-year veteran of Oracle, Jason is responsible for Oracle’s SPARC and x86 server, Oracle Solaris, Oracle Private Cloud Appliance and Cloud at Customer hyper-converged systems, and Oracle’s storage product portfolio.

Johannes Dobretsberger is Director Technology & Systems Marketing EMEA at Oracle. Reporting into International Marketing Line of Business, he drives marketing campaigns across all Oracle Technology and Systems products to generate awareness & qualified pipeline for Oracle Platform based on customers' data-driven digital journey. The objective of his team is to establish Oracle as a Multi-Cloud vendor of choice, driving awareness and demand generation for the strategic Technology & Systems portfolio. Johannes also is part of the EMEA Systems Management Board.

Kelly Smith is the Senior Principal Product Manager responsible for areas revolving around backup and recovery. These would include: Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance, RMAN, and Oracle Backup Cloud Service.

In his more than 20 years in product management, Krishna has worked on everything from software development to networking, and now focuses on cloud infrastructure. “The most exciting thing about my job is that I get to create a product that for so many IT professionals serves as a foundation for how they deliver IT as a service for their stakeholders,” says Krishna.

Kristian is the Director of Solution Engineering in the Cloud Systems Business Development group for EMEA. With his customer facing team he is sharing technical best practice and how Oracle Strategy and adoption of strategic platforms including Exadata, Exadata Cloud at Customer, Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance and Private Cloud Appliance provide strategic direction and results to businesses across EMEA.

Maria Colgan is a Distinguished Product Manager at Oracle Corporation and has been with the company since version 7.3 was released in 1996. Maria’s core responsibility is to advocate for the Oracle Database and the best practices for incorporating it into your environments. She is also responsible for getting the feedback from our customers and partners incorporated into future releases of the product.

Prior to this role; she was the product manager for Oracle Database In-Memory and the Oracle Database query optimizer.

Martien is a technology addict with strong focus on Data centers, Cloud, Automation and the Environment. He has extensive experience on guiding customers through their journey to the cloud as well as building resilient architectures to ensure business continuity. As a certified Oracle Enterprise Architect he brings deep technical knowledge in architectures and Oracle product knowledge and is able to elevate customer conversation to the business value level, while assuring delivering the most optimal architecture for the job. In his position he heavily relies on the capabilities and experience he acquired during his 30+ years in IT. Martien is a frequent speaker at events and industry conferences.

Michael Ramchand is known as a EMEA Cloud Systems Chief Infrastructure Technologist. His area of expertise is Data Centre efficiency where the disciplines of consolidation, virtualization and automation can be combined to provide people-/, process-/ and IT efficient systems: delivering availability, disaster recovery, and simplicity translating into huge operational savings to companies EMEA-wide.

Michael Carpenter is Director - Regulatory Compliance and Cloud Security. He is leading Oracle Global Information Security within global Corporate Security organization. His main objective is Information Security Risk Management at Oracle across all lines of business.

GIS provides oversight of cloud security through ongoing collaboration with Line of Business experts on programs, projects, and issues to manage risk. GIS oversees the scope, statements of work, risk assessment, inventory, report, and findings for all Cloud services that offer compliance claims to customers. GIS oversees claims and contractual agreements related to security. GIS approval is required before sharing confidential information.

Michele joined Oracle in 2010 coming from the Sun Microsystems acquisition. He is a knowledgeable advisor and technical guide on the topic of Database Infrastructure Platform and his main focus is to provide the required support to customers in his homeland Italy and across EMEA.

Robert Greene is Senior Director of Product Management. He is a Database Technology expert with 20+ years experience of leading both engineering and product management in database companies.Now evangelizing a new Autonomous era in database services.

Sebastien Grotto is EMEA Private and Hybrid Cloud Specialist, part of the EMEA Business Development team for Oracle Cloud Systems. He has 20+ years of experience in IT and has been leading multiple global ITIL projects to drive better business availability.

His professional journey includes working for a Telco/MSP company for 8 years and joining the European Commission to support all line of businesses at delivering best customer experience. In his EMEA position at BMC Software, he has driven customer-oriented solutions to support Fortune 500 companies with optimizing their IT business processes.

Since joining Oracle in 2013 he has been driving innovative solutions for Oracle customers and has been instrumental for the launch promotion of Private Cloud solutions in EMEA. He is a proud conveyor of that Oracle Cloud provides an unique opportunity to relate Private and Hybrid solutions with Cloud benefits helping customers in their journey through digital transformation.

Simon Law is a Senior Principal Product Manager / Strategy for Oracle.

Subban Raghunathan is VP of Product Management for Oracle’s Exadata core technologies focusing on on-premises deployments. He regularly meets with Oracle’s customers worldwide, bringing to bear a rare combination of technology and business expertise. He specializes in helping enterprises design technology solutions that are aligned with their business goals, whether that involves On-Premises, Cloud at Customer, or Exadata Cloud Services deployments. Mr. Raghunathan has a BS in Electrical Engineering and a masters in Mathematics and has expertise in computer architecture, data communications, and telecommunications. He joined Sun Microsystems as an engineer in 2006 and moved to product management in 2012.
