PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools - Tools and Technology


	PeopleTools 8.50 is now generally available. PeopleTools 8.50 is important to PeopleSoft customers as it demonstrates Oracle's commitment to the PeopleSoft product family and providing significant enhancements to PeopleSoft products. PeopleTools 8.50 was developed with a special focus on end user performance through new web 2.0 capabilities and integrated collaboration features. PeopleTools 8.50 is available to customers running all of the recent PeopleSoft applications (eg. 8.8, 8.9 and 9.0) and is the foundation to the 9.1 applications. The new PeopleTools features and capabilities have created a lot of customer excitement and we are sure to see rapid adoption of this technology. Included in this release are an improved user experience, improved developer productivity, enhanced reporting and query options, and infrastructure and security enhancements.
