As an internet sales representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives.
Generate sales leads as well as closing sales online or by phone. Utilize inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales opportunities. Develop account penetration strategies and close business. Responsible for understanding Oracle*s product offerings and competitive issues. Identify new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. Participate on teams including field sales, support, and education sales and sales consulting.

The primary focus of an Oracle inside sales team manager is to plan, manage, and develop a team of inside sales representatives.
Manage a team of telesales representatives/managers for a territory/region. Participate as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Develop working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans. Develop and execute strategic regional plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue, with frequent guidance from the area manager or director. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff.

As a channel sales representative you will pull partners into Oracle business opportunities and manage third-party transactions that result from the relationship.
Identify and develop channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Facilitate joint selling between channel partners and the direct sales team. Increase revenue and market share from partner sources through a leveraged partnering model. Identify and develop joint go-to-market strategies and lead generation opportunities. Provide accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts. Educate partners in Oracle commercial practices. Maintain an understanding of Oracle technology and articulate Oracle value propositions to partners and their customers. Manage transaction contracts, business practices, and deal-booking issues. Work with marketing to plan marketing events for partners.
