MRP Quick Start
NetSuite's Materials Resource Planning (MRP) feature is a powerful tool for managing your inventory requirements. But where to start with it? This Quick Start will give you the basic information and skills you need to get going with MRP. Learn the essential setup tasks and how to run MRP day-to-day. This series takes place in two parts, each running 90 minutes.

The MRP Quick Start series occurs on the first and second Monday of each quarter at 11:30 AM PDT for 90 minutes. Holidays are adjusted for.
Part 1 of the Quick Start focuses on the basic setup required to get moving with MRP, as well as what makes MRP different from NetSuite's other inventory planning methods. You'll learn how to activate the MRP feature and perform basic setup necessary to start planning.
You should plan to attend both sessions. Part 2 is offered the week after part 1 and picks up where part 1 leaves off.
In part 2 of the Quick Start, we focus on the general process of running MRP once the basic setup is completed, emphasizing the use of the Planning Workbench to review and execute plans, and conversion of plans into actual transactions.
