  • Deep knowledge and practical experience delivering cloud technologies, managing and building data center server, network, storage, and networking, providing Infrastructure architecture and engineering guidance, building large scale internet data collection systems and data warehouses, and PaaS and SaaS solutions for multiple companies.

  • Delivering system development life cycle projects in all areas: architecture, requirements, hardware design, software engineering, and all stages of testing and operation support.

  • Wide experience with technology solutions and implementations with many different vendor technologies in both and development and operational support role.

In addition to years of architecture and technical management experience, he is knowledgeable in Oracle’s Architecture Development Process (OADP) and Oracle Enterprise Architecture Framework (OEAF).

Industry Experience
Bryan has worked with companies in a variety of industries including Finance, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Services, Entertainment, Web, and Federal Government. His experience includes:
  • For a Financial Services company he performed the roles of lead architect and and lead infrastructure engineer on a enterprise wide transformational project to move towards SOA and migrate silo applications to the Oracle suite of products, including data warehousing on Oracle RAC, Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA+BPM), E-Business suite, Hyperion and OBIEE. He was responsible for engineering an infrastructure solution to mimic Exadata using HP Blade systems, 10G Ethernet and 8G Fiber channel.

  • In the Pharmaceutical industry and GMP process he was the lead architect for the design and deployment of a hosted Learning Management System (LMS) using Sun, Cisco, F5 hardware and hosted on a 10g Oracle DB with Oracle Application Server 10g. He designed the logical network and physical rack, documented the installation of all of the software and supported the operation of the LMS.

  • For the Paper and Chemical Industry he performed the role of CTO at a startup initially specialization in paper optical property optimization. He built a hosted simulation and real-time process control database solution which collected data from the plant and used that data against a simulation engine. He was responsible for building out the hosted infrastructure using Dell and Cisco hardware and Microsoft and OSI Soft software.

  • For an Internet audience measurement company he was the VP of systems. In less than 9 weeks after starting he and his team delivered a hosted solution for capturing web surfing behavior from a panel of users. By the end of the first year, the team had built a Sybase IQ data warehouse holding 2TB of data collected from 5 different geographically diverse data centers and data from over 1 million web users.

  • For a complex web site management and hosting services company he performed the roles of Director of Unix technical operations and Director of Professional Services. His team migrated from used clone Sun hardware running on SunOS to new Sun hardware running Solaris in a little over three months. He helped create the professional services group as both a sales tool and as a means to manage the implementations of our customers who needed a wide array of support as they moved to the Web.

  • For military flight and marine control systems, he performed roles such as lead systems engineer, lead technical project manager and software manager. He was responsible for the testing program that lead to first flight test of the V-22
