and groups
Create users and groups manually
1. Create a user
- In the Identity Cloud Service console, click Users,
and then click Add.
- Provide the user's first name, last name, and email address, and then
click Finish.
- The user is created, and an invitation email is sent to the new user.
2. Create a group
- In the Identity Cloud Service console, expand the Navigation Drawer, click Groups,
and then click Add.
- Provide a name and a description for the group, and then click Next.
- (Optional). Assign users to the group, and click Finish.

3. Bulk load users
- In the Identity Cloud Service console, expand the Navigation Drawer, click Users,
and then click Import.
- Click Browse, select a CSV file with user entries
prepared to be imported, and click Open.
- Click Import.
- Copy the schedule ID, and use it to search for the import job on the Jobs
page. The job will appear when processing completes.
4. Bulk load groups
- In the Identity Cloud Service console, expand the Navigation Drawer, click Groups,
and then click Import.
- Click Browse, select a CSV file with group entries
prepared to be imported, and click Open.
- Click Import.
- Copy the schedule ID, and use it to search for the import job on the Jobs
page. The job will appear when processing completes.
5. Import users and groups using a bridge
- This step is applicable if you have a bridge configured.
- In the Identity Cloud Service console, expand the Navigation Drawer, click Settings,
and then click Directory Integrations (the bridge icon
on the Settings menu).
- Click the bridge that you want to use to import users and groups.
- Click Import.
- Oracle Identity Cloud Service displays a confirmation message and
starts the synchronization with your bridge.
- Click the Import tab to see the status of the
import job and to verify how many users and groups were imported.
Reset passwords and resend invitations
6. Reset passwords
- In the Identity Cloud Service console, expand the Navigation Drawer, click Users.
- Select the check box of each user account for which you want to reset
the password.
- Click More, and then click Reset Password.
- In the confirmation window, click Reset Passwords.
- Oracle Identity Cloud Service sends an email including the password
reset notification for all users selected.
7. Resend invitations
- In the Identity Cloud Service console, expand the Navigation Drawer, click Users.
- Select the check box of each user account for which you want to resend
an invitation.
- Click More, and click Send Invitation.
- In the confirmation window, click Send Invitations.
- The invitation is sent to users who haven't accessed Oracle Identity
Cloud Service so far.
- To verify the list of users who will receive the invitation, click Details.
