Getting started with Oracle Identity Cloud Service - Performing
self-service tasks
Access your applications
1. Access your applications
- Access the Identity Cloud Service My Apps page.
(This is the default page for users after logging in to Oracle Identity
Cloud Service).
- To locate an application, use the sort box or the search bar.
- Click the application of your preference.
The application will launch in a new window.
2. Mark your favorite applications
- Return to the My Apps page.
- To mark an application as a favorite, click the star icon next to the
application.
- To view only your favorite applications, click Favorites.
Modify your account
3. Update your profile
- In the My Apps page, click your user name (in the
top-right corner) and then click My Profile.
- In the My Profile Details page, update your user
information, and then click Save.
4. Reset your password
- Click Change My Password.
- In the Old Password field, enter your current
password.
- In the New Password field, enter your new password.
The password must meet the conditions listed in the Password
Criteria box.
- In the Confirm New Password field, enter your new
password again, and then click Submit.
5. Update your email options
- Click Set Email Options.
- To update your recovery email address or your primary email address,
click Change in the respective email row.
- In the Credentials dialog box, enter your password.
- Enter your new email address, and then click Save &
Verify.
- Verify the email address, and then click Send.
- Open the message that Oracle Identity Cloud Service sent to you (Please
Verify Your Email Address for Your Account), and click Email
Verification.
Recover or unlock your account
6. Recover your password
- In the Oracle Identity Cloud Service Sign In page,
click Can't sign in?.
- Enter your user name, and then click Submit.
- In the confirmation window, click Submit.
- Open the message that Oracle Identity Cloud Service sent to you (Please
Reset Your Password for Your Account), and click Password
Reset.
- Follow the instructions to reset your password.
7. Unlock your account
- After you lock your account, go to the message that Oracle Identity
Cloud Service sent to your email (Your Account is Locked), and
click Password Reset.
- Enter your user name, and then click Submit.
- In the confirmation window, click Submit.
- Open the message that Oracle Identity Cloud Service sent to you (Please
Reset Your Password for Your Account), and click Password
Reset.
- Follow the instructions to reset your password.
