Use the Submittal Package log to view the current status of all submittal packages in a project. In the Submittal Packages log, view a summary for each submittal package.

Each submittal package has a unique package number. In the Workflow Template tab in the submittal package, select the contacts who will participate in the submittal process. In the Received From field, select the contact from whom you will receive the submittal package. In the Forwarded To field, select the contact to whom you will forward the submittal package. 

In the following exercises, ACME General Contractors has selected Ace Masonry to provide brick samples for Philadelphia County School, which is seeking a stylized pattern in the brick wall at the end of the school addition. The pattern will consist of two colors of brick. The Design Group, which is the architect and engineering firm, must review the brick samples. 

In order to track the brick samples, Steve Johnson will create a Masonry submittal package.
