Access submittals from the Logs folder in the Project View or from the Submittals tab in a Submittal Package. Each submittal has a unique submittal number, which has a maximum length of 15 characters. 

There are two ways to populate Required Start and Required Finish in the submittal process: 

• Manually specify dates in the General tab.
• Contract Management can calculate the dates based on values in the Lead Time column and the date when a successor activity to the submittal review process is scheduled to begin.

Update Schedule Dates from Lead Time - Lead time is the number of days to complete an activity in the submittal review process. Contract Management uses the date of the successor activity to calculate when each activity in the submittal review process should start and finish, based on each activity’s lead time, to ensure that the successor activity can start on schedule.
