Web-Based Configuration Utility

An optional Web-based configuration utility enables you to configure the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process from any location with an internet connection. The ETL process moves data from P6 to the Reporting Database Star Schema, which is used by Primavera Analytics. This new feature means you no longer have to be on the physical machine where Primavera Analytics is installed to configure and run an ETL process.

In the new configuration utility:

• Schedule an ETL process. You can configure a repeating day and time when the ETL process will run.
• View log files for ETL processes.
• Configure codes (project, activity, resource) to transfer from P6 to the Primavera Reporting Database (Star Schema).
• Configure user-defined fields (date, text, cost, and non-cost) to transfer from P6 to the Primavera Reporting Database (Star Schema).

To access this feature: This utility is included with the P6 Reporting Database.
