On the Actions menu, click Run, Summarize Projects.
Some job services always run in the background. Others, such as summarization, switch to the background after a period of time.
Click OK.
When the background job completes, a notification displays.
Click Notifications (1).
The Notifications dialog box indicates that summarization has completed successfully.
Click Clear all notifications.
P6 indicates that it is summarizing projects.
The topic is completed.
